Integrations

Shopware integrations for accounting, shipping, ERP and any other system.

Copying orders by hand, passing on documents one by one, typing in shipping labels: an integration does that for you. I build it for any system you work with and automate whatever repeats.

Examples

Integrations from my plugins.

I build integrations for any system that can exchange data. The integrations below are only examples from plugins I developed. Except for the ERP integration, all of them are available from digitvision in the Shopware Extension Store.

Accounting

DATEV

DATEV Export

Invoices, credit notes and cancellations become a posting batch in DATEV format, with document images that DATEV links to the booking by itself after the import.

Returns

DHL and UPS

Returns & Return Labels

Customers register the return in their customer account, also as guests. The label comes straight from the DHL or UPS interface, with a tracking number.

Shipping

DHL

DHL Shipment Tracking

Queries the status of every DHL shipment via the DHL interface. Customers see it in their order, and shipping events trigger emails and status changes.

Payouts

PayPal and SEPA

Affiliate & Partner Program

After your review, commissions go to the partners through the PayPal interface or as a SEPA file for your online banking.

Security

Threat lists

Firewall & Security Suite

The firewall pulls more than 200,000 known attacker addresses from Spamhaus, FireHOL, AbuseIPDB and blocklist.de and keeps them up to date automatically.

ERP

Mention

Mention XML interface

Automates the data exchange between the shop and the Mention ERP system. Written for Shopware 5 at a former employer.

Also written for Shopware 5 at a former employer: automatic DHL tracking and real-time shipping cost calculation via the UPS interface.

How it works

Four ways to connect Shopware.

Which way fits depends on what the other system can do and how fast the data has to flow.

1

Via the Shopware API.

The other system reads and writes orders, products and stock through the Shopware API. Many ERP systems come with a ready-made connector for this.

2

Via a plugin in the shop.

The shop talks to the service itself, exactly at the right moment: the return label is created as soon as the customer registers the return.

3

Via files.

Exports and imports in fixed formats such as DATEV, CSV or XML, at the push of a button or on a schedule. A good fit when the other side expects files.

4

Via events.

When something changes in the shop, such as the status of an order, the new data goes to the other system immediately instead of waiting for the next sync.

Preparation

What we clarify before building.

These six questions decide the effort and the process of an integration. You don’t have to answer them alone, we go through them together.

Which data?
Orders, customers, products, prices, stock, documents or tracking numbers.
In which direction?
Only out of the shop, only into the shop or both ways.
How often?
Immediately with every change, at fixed intervals or once a day.
Which system leads?
Which system has the final say on prices, stock and product data?
What about errors?
What happens when the other side is not reachable, and who finds out?
What does the other side offer?
Is there a documented interface, a test account or already a connector for Shopware?

Working with AI

AI for the legwork, the decisions from me.

Integrations consist largely of legwork: reading documentation, mapping fields, building test data. AI agents help me with that. Which data flows where and what happens on errors is my decision.

More about how I work with AI
I design the integration.
Data flow, direction, frequency and error handling are set together with you.
Agents assist.
They work through long API documentation, map data fields and write tests with sample data.
I review.
I check every mapping and every error case myself before real orders run through the integration.

Reviews

What shop owners say about the DHL and UPS integration.

The reviews are translated from German.

“The plugin runs reliably, and return labels for other countries can be generated without any problems. Support responds lightning-fast and is very competent.”

“The plugin has been in use for quite a while and makes handling extremely easy. Support responds quickly and is helpful.”

FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

Your question isn’t listed? Give me a call or send me a short message about what you need.

Which systems can you connect to Shopware?

Any system that can exchange data: ERP, accounting, shipping carriers, payment providers, marketplaces, CRM, PIM or your own tools. DATEV, DHL, UPS, PayPal and Mention are just examples from my plugins.

Can you connect my ERP system to Shopware?

Yes, whichever it is, as long as it can exchange data through an interface, through files or through events. I first check whether there is already a ready-made connector for Shopware. If it fits, you save yourself a custom development.

What data can a Shopware integration transfer?

Everything Shopware stores: orders with line items and status, customers, products with prices and stock, invoices and credit notes, tracking numbers. What matters is what the other system accepts.

What happens if the other system is not reachable?

Every integration has to expect that. We define beforehand what happens then: whether the shop tries again later, where the error becomes visible and who gets notified.

Do I need a separate integration for DATEV?

Usually not. Your tax advisor imports posting batches in DATEV format. My plugin DATEV Export creates exactly these from invoices, credit notes and cancellations, with document images.

Can you connect Shopware to DHL, UPS or other carriers?

Yes. For DHL and UPS my plugins already cover return labels and shipment tracking. I connect any other carrier the same way through its interface.

Which system should connect to your shop?

Tell me which systems you use and which data should flow between them. I will tell you which way fits and whether there is already a ready-made solution.
